I think Indian cricketers are the only ones who are peeved and worried about wickets. Couple of days back Ashwin remarked that the Indiann team will have to bowl all day long on dead pitches. Now it is Tendulkar. Are our players telling the world that they will be effective only on doctored pitches

s he already made so many runs on fast bouncy pitches of Aus, Eng, SA a WI unlike todays batsman friendly pitches. plz check his stats in above mentioned countries :)

when he encountered tracks assisting bowlers in those countries what did he do?
Good suggestion from a good human being. Yes we really want to see the battle between bat and ball and for that conditions needs to be moved to equilibrium to let cricket remain cricket or else it will turn out to be a baseball
Although he is truly a good batsmen but he has pathetic records in playing fast pitches in West indies and Australia.
Lucky that he didn't had to face bowlers which Gavasker faced such as Hodling, Marshall, Andy Roberts, Geol Garner, Sarfarz Nawaz, Imran Khan, Bob wills, Jeff Thompson etc.
Had he faced them, 10,000 runs and Bharath Ratna would have been a dream

you are correct shahid afridi is the only batsman in the world who would have survived all these bowlers.

@abdulla Average of 54 in aus n 48 in WI is pathetic ??? hahahah, u seriously need_a_Mental_cheCKUp_in_PApIStan... hd SRT played against current bowlers, he would have made 150tons n 45000runs :)

I am comparing Gavaskar to SRT and on the pitches they played. Not talking about averages. Now you go and check yourself in Nepal. But now a days even Nepalese don't like you guys.

@Abdulla gavaskar is better than Sachin only in WI and Pak. Sachin is miles ahead than Gavaskar at all other places. Gavaskar never played against great spinners like warne n murli which Sachin did. Gavaskar played against great pacers n Sachin played equally best pacers of past 25 years. Secondly there is no comparision between both as far as ODI are considered...
hahahah, u seriously need_a_Mental_cheCKUp_in_PApIStan...

Again, I never said SRT is a bad player nor Gavasker is bad player. All I said was SRT would have never played that good if he were to play against those fast bowlers on a fast pitch because of his patetic record such pitches. And he is advocating those very pitches now.
SO it is time you book a ticket to Nepal now and show to a mental doctor there.

@ abdulla, again plz check cricinfo n compare both average in all nations. SRT is better than gavaskar in aus, eng, nz evrywhr except wi n pak. Sachin played better bowlers right from Walsh to Steyn and especially spinners like warne n murli.
No wonder pap!stanis lyk u cn read english properly. u need not to book ticket bcz intrus1on is done by pAP!staNiz all over the world WITHOUT TICKET :)

for How many years did he play walsh. And Styn cannot even come close to those legends that I mentioned.
Make sure your Nepalese is not as worst as your English & your IQ otherwise they will not treat you well. You will get back from there with more mental illness. Good luck dear.

@abdulla i cn understand ur frustration. ur br0thers r included in franceAttAck. wht else cn b expected frm u paPiStan!z :)
I am Sure No Batsman will say anything in favour of Bowlers - Because their Main Enemy is The Bowler himself.
Is Sachin Tendulkar Afraid of Losing his Batting Records ??? Or is he jealous that the New Generation of Alastair Cook, Hashim Amla, A B De Villiers and Virat Kohli will erase his names from the Record books ???
Bowler friendly in India means that we are definitely going to produce Spin Friendly Dustbowls like in the past. So in the future there will be even more Vicious and Prodigious Turn from the 1st to last ball.
I Guess only Indians are the Only Team in World Cricket who open their New Ball attack with Spin - So we can expect to see bigger and Square Turning pitches for the upcoming Test matches in India.

SRT has already played the GREATEST BOWLERS of all time and was very successful against most of them.
Can u name even 5 world class bowlers today ??? the name u mentioned, hd these played against the bowlers SRT faced, they could have never made so many runs :)
Re: Is Sachin Tendulkar Afraid of Losing his Batting Records ???
by Aam Aadmi on Jul 14, 2016 03:27 PM
they are very good, or even better than Tendulkar but they need to play long and consistent cricket like him to break his records.and dont tell me that spin pitches are done to protect his record, that would be dumber than blowing up on self for thelust of getting 72 girls in heaven.
Glad to know that atleast now Tendulkar has felt that cricket pitches should be bowler friendly, else his clan of people from Gavaskar times have always favored batting pitches so that they can plunder runs at the mercy of bowlers. All the Indian cricketers always feel and say that cricket is batsman's game. Actually, cricket should be a bowler's game. What is the use of batsman plundering runs in dead pitches where poor bowlers have nothing to get them support to deliver a good bowl. Only if the bowl is swinging and spinning and then the batsman is able to stick to the crease and defend and hit the ball, then can we appreciate the talent of the batsman. And its really a feast for the eyes to see the bowling beauty. Its only due the batting pitches that interest in test matches is lost. Similarly, T20 is no fun when one see anybody and everybody hitting even a great bowler to sixes with ease and that too without any art of batting. Hope better sense prevails with the organization committee and curator of the pitches.

Cricket has become multi-million dollar entertainment business now a days. If there are bowling pitches, lets say in IPL, then the whole game will be boring and no one will watch.
If RCB is all out for 45 runs in 20 overs and SRH was all out for 40 chasing the target with no sixes or fours during both the sessions, then no one will watch the match either in the ground or on TV.
