Need to refine your logic. Pak has said that as per certain provisions of their law, hoisting flag of other country (say India here) is illegal and amounts to crime. So, he is charged with a crime (may or may not be convicted)... By saying that in India, we did not do anything for hoisting Pak or ISIS flags, we had not done anything is because of tolerance cannot be comprehended . You mean to say that people commit crime in India and no action is taken against them... so such comparison is not possible here. If there is a provision under Indian law, action should have been taken.
In India, especially I Mumbai we have seen thousands of pakistani flags, if we take similar action no Muslims will be residing in India. This is not right by the police and the judgement given by Pakistan court.
In my state there are several pockets,(and i'm sure there are thousands in our coutry elsewhere) in my state i.e. west bengal, certain people from a minority faith regularly hoist pakistani flag when pakistan wins a cricket match. We indians never sentenced them for even a day!! Now those who created hullabullah before the bihar election for some imaginary "intolerance" purportedly prevalent in India, what will you people say about sentencing a cricket fan for 10 yrs? Chullu bhar pani pe dub maro ya tonsure your head in shame. Choice is yours.
Wah, I feel Pakistan is more ptriotic than India. there situaion is as mentioned an innocent guy got 10 years imprisonment for hoisting a flag of eneme country and here Asia Andrabe of Kashmir is openly, celebrating Pakistan Day hoisting Paki flag not only she, Lots of youngesters are doing same in Srinaga and our state and central Govt s are silent. Shame on these govt . aleast book he in provision of law and le her be behind bars.. Vande Matram.
On the face of it ,this report should have gone unattended and unacknowledged. But , on the deep side , the Indo Pak issue has become more of an emotional trap than a political problem. THis problem has vastly shortchanged n discounted human values.May be there is nothing wrong in liking a foreign player in Pak and hoisting its flag too .. but the damage has been done. On the one hand ,New Delhi is trying hard to normalise at least the cultural ties and on the other punishing its own citizen for his "gross nondoing". The Indo Pak issue has being a ping pong game with no score board. Sad stste of affairs.
