I'm afraid

He will be figured out soon, though I wish the opposite. Once his slingy action is decoded, batsmen will take him for loads of runs.

There is no substitute to line, length, pace and seam. The only bowler India could boast of, at the moment, is Ishant Sharma.

He has not been as successful as one would want him to be. He should be given confidence, groomed and may be made into a genuine fast, seaming bowler like a South African or an Australian lad. Others like Mohd. Shami support him well.

Only Ishant has got the height to hit the deck hard. Concentrate and spend more on him.

good talent but still some way to
by Sandeep Singh on Jan 25, 2016 10:57 PM

as experts say that one failure doesn't devalue a well-established player, I would add one success too doesn't make a new player successful...he should be given more chances to see if he can repeat is feat on regular basis

I THINK the credit lies with John Wright

...who actually recognized his potential and backed him in the IPL team.

Ganguly and John Wright were great visionaries and will always be credited for the turnaround in Indian cricket for spotting and grooming talents from a very early stage. Their contributions can be felt till this day.
Dhoni was just allowing Bhumrah to settle in for the T20.
