Gavaskar calls for "harsh steps"
by ASHKO KUMAR on Jan 21, 2016 10:07 AM  | Hide replies

While I agree with Gavaskar,it would have been more prudent on part of Gavaskar if he advised Dhoni to either perform to expectation or quit. After every failure we cannot expect a captain to repeat same words again & again...Dhoni,Rahane & Jadeja were totally responsible for this loss after Virat & Dhawan brought us very near to victory with the asking rate less than 6,having 6 wickets in hand after Kohili's exit..Big shame on these players..

I don't think Rahane is responsible. His right hand's webbing was split and still he dared to bat. I doubt if you can even hold a bat in such situation. I agree with your comment on Dhoni and Jadeja

The Collapse and comments
by PCMoharana on Jan 21, 2016 09:37 AM

Our batting collapse is not new. Even during Gavaskar-Kapil's time, we have seen many such instances. So such comments by seniors are not understood. I think, our bowlers are not disciplined or not properly advised. We must look for talented bowlers and give rest to Ishant like players. PCM

Dirty Politics in Team Selection

You expect wining against australia in australia by selecting rishi, gurukeerat and leaving experience all rounders irfan pathan, yousuf pathan, yuraj singh, uttapa to play domestic cricket, First stop dirty politics in team selection, clean your minds, then you will win automatically if you have better players, you will get better results

U mean to say irfan pathan, yousuf pathan, yuraj singh, uttapa would have won this match/series for us...high hopes! Some were asking for blooding youngsters like Gurkreet, Rishi Dhawan, karun nair, etc. and U want to go back to tried ones. Remember only 11 can play at a time..

Time to go

Both Dhoni and Shastri have been fantastic for India and we recognize that, but this is the time when we expect both of them to just say .... I'M GOING.

Yes, You are right. People had thrown Shastri out of Indian time and now he should be thrown out from selection and Dhoni also. Why they have selected players like Rishi and Gurkreet in place of Raina, Yuvraj. And Dhoni is not playing like earlier. Only first 3 batsmen make the score and throw their wickets. And other batsmen just come and go. They are unnecessarily earning.

How dhobi select new players like rishi dhanu and gu mann in playing eleven and a player like irfan pathan not selected in tournment like ipl for a single match this shows how dhobi interested in ipl and experiment in international matches i think dhobi not interested in international matches he must be sacked from captaincy

Magnificent ODI Match - India are The New Chokers
by Desert Bangalore on Jan 21, 2016 02:43 AM  | Hide replies

Congratulations to India, since we have Maintained our Traditional Cricketing History Inherited from our Previous Losing Generation of Cricketers who similarly fell at the Doorstep of Victory !!!!

I am Proud of this Indian team, A Special Thank You for Shikhar Dhawan & Virat Kohli for their Personal Individual Statistics Breaking Records and a Former Senior World Cup 2011 Champion for Leading his Flock towards another face hiding shameful defeat.

More Youngsters needed to Continue this Loser Tradition & committing Harakiri (Like Geoffrey Boycott used to say).

I really enjoyed seeing this match and looking forward to Download the Video Highlights of yet another Typical comical Indian Batting collapse.

Will Download Entire series if India lose 5-0 !!!!

Dear Sir, I am sure, with the talent we have in various states who are knocking on the doors of the Indian team, they will not disappoint us in future. As you know, we are a country closely embracing traditions and why should we discard this precious, decades-long legacy? Let us hope that our future generation of cricketers will make the nation proud!

Yes. Batsmen should be allowed to score only 37 runs. Dhawan and Kohli broke the rule. ROTFLMAO
