onus on BCCI
by mahadevan ravi on Jan 21, 2016 06:25 PM  | Hide replies

probably Dhoni is rehersing his lines for the T20 WC.,"taking full responsibility etc".,But should BCCI selectors wait after this series Down and Over.,and try him only as a keeper. He will not resign as he has other calculations.

Why not
by CHHANDA CHARAN DANTA on Jan 21, 2016 02:06 PM

Why not Yuvraj is included in ODI. You should know that still he is the backbone of Indian cricket team....

Dhoni Paying the price
by Guru RamRahimDsuza on Jan 21, 2016 01:09 PM

Of his own misdeeds. He never believed in building and kept giving chance to his CSK buddies like Jadeja,Raina etc. ignoring young talents. Now his team is running out of talented players. He thrived on the success of hard work of previous captains but failing miserably now. It is sad to see that few people still blindly supports him..

VERY DISAPPOINTING - -
by Shilpa Mehta on Jan 21, 2016 11:00 AM  | Hide replies

Never saw Team India losing from such a comfortable position . Nine wickets fell for 46 runs . Such a collapse usually happens with PAK or WI teams .

Its totally due to weak middle order as I was saying since begining of series .

These Gurukirat / Rashi Dhawan are totally inexperienced players . And still few people bats for young guns . Team must always have correct blend of young & experienced players .

Yesterday , had there been at least one of them Raina or Yuvraj we would not have lost for sure .

MSD has always bailed out Team India from even worse position then yesterdays in the past but unfortunately he also failed yesterday .

Jadeja left alone with no support from other end .

NO NEED FOR MSD TO QUIT .

Such a good efforts of Dhawan / Kohli / Rohit Sharma got wasted .

No point blaming youngsters. Yuvi and Raina could not bat against Australian bowlers even at home conditions in 2013.The way Dhoni got out yesterday was simply pathetic. Had Dhoni simply given the strike to Kohli and India would have won. Time up for Dhoni and his fans

Atithi tum kab jaoge

Again dhoni opt for fishing in muddy water as usual,by promoting up in the order, when base is strong, like 2011 WC. but this time his luk did not support him. he is like a shadow of his past, he should understand and leave his place to others.

Dhoni should step down
by Vishwajay Chakravarty on Jan 21, 2016 09:08 AM

If Dhoni has any self respect and integrity, he should step down as captain. He has been losing series after series and has horrible record away from home. Yet he continues and keeps making excuses after each defeat. Captains have been removed after one series defeat but this guy has so much clout, no one can show him the door unless he himself chooses to go!! And as a true Indian cricketer he will never do so..
