What happened to your ICC Number 1 Ranked Bowler?

Why did you keep him out of the team ??

Oh maybe your Team realized that this is Not India and there won't be any Spin in your favour.

India poised for a 5-0 & 3-0 whitewash certainly.

No precedent

The Canabera ODI will be the first ever match played between IND and AUS at this place. AUS had played 2 games against WI and SA and won both. India had played only 1 game against SL, which they lost.So we have keep our fingers crossed and await the outcome.

First select the best available team.
by Ravi Kiran on Jan 19, 2016 05:53 PM

Shastri and other tour selection committee members first learn to select the right bowling combination. For example, they dropped BHUVANESHWAR for the 2nd ODI after he was the most economical bowler in the 1st ODI. Had every other bowler conceeded the same number of runs like him ( 42 runs in 10 overs)India would have
won the first ODI. Then our selectors dropped our best bowler Ashwin for 3rd ODI and included some useless bowlers like Yadav,Mann,Rishi Dhawan the result was obvious. It is better if Shastri and others first rectify their selection flaws and then talk of of consistency

See its so simple ...

... I simply don't understand why they did not ask this question to Shastri before the 3 matches.
All his infinite wisdom is being simply wasted.
See, the solution was so simple. They could have won all the three matches hands down (their pants)

he he

Correct. Just today Indian bowlers learned that they are supposed to be consistent and give less runs and take wickets. Thanks to the journalist who asked the question. Else Indian fans would never know what the bowlers were supposed to do and nor would the bowlers.

Hard for this Indian Team to win abroad!
by kunaal gaikwad on Jan 19, 2016 04:45 PM

It would be self delusional to imagine the current Indian team to win matches abroad with the kind of bowlers operating right now. Every cricket team (barring the West Indies, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe) have (an) exceptional bowler(s) in their ranks who can bowl out the opposition most of the times. It is a fact that the Indian team lacks quality bowlers, who can bowl consistently, with genuine pace and have that art of bowling Yorkers.

Shastri admits
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Jan 19, 2016 03:21 PM

He says :""There is absolutely no shame in the way they have played despite recent results. Because I know there is only one way to go after this tour of Australia and that's going up." That clearly means we are at rock bottom, if there is only one way to go !

Ravi Shastri knows only to talk after the loss & starts his advises...If he is so much experienced & capable why don't he tip our players when they practce at nets???High time this tall man be shown exit and replaced by someone really experienced and guide our players...Also it's hightime Dhoni quits gracefully & pave way for youngsters, else, prove his worth thru his lusty hittings & score for India. We need a dashing Dhoni, and not a Dhoni been cowed down..

Against Australia no matter which team or how many reserve players India put, we will end up on the losing side.
