Dhoni, middle order batsmen, spinners & bad fielding are culp
by Hindustani on Jan 16, 2016 01:43 PM

What about DHONI???? why nobody is talking about him? what has he done in last 10 ODI matches? He only comments on others. Why is he in the team at the first place?

What Shikar Dhawan has done in last 10 ODI's?
Why is he in the team?

Why they have not selected Shreyas Iyer in his place or some in-form young batsman in place of him?

What about our bowling?
What about self-proclaimed so called great spinner Ashwin?
What is his record overseas? Why he can not take a wicket outside India?

What about Ravindra Jadeja? What else he is doing besides fielding? or is he in the team just for fielding?

So don't blame Rohit Sharma alone, had he not scored those runs, then we wouldn't have made even 300 runs. The same logic applies to Virat Kohli also. Why he throw away his wicket both times when partnership was built? What about Rahane? why he did not scored fast?

THE MAIN CULPRITS OF OUR FAILURE ARE :

1) DHONI 2) ASHWIN 3) JADEJA 4) UMESH YADAV

5) ISHANT SHARMA 6) OUR POOR FIELDING

ESPECIALLY CATCHING AND THROWING AT STUMPS &

HOW EASILY WE GIVE AWAY EASY SINGLES TO THEM

WITHOUT TIGHTNING IN THE CIRCLES.

Hype ONly
by C V on Jan 16, 2016 01:26 PM

Just accept the hard fact that our team is only HYPE and nothing more. The result proves that only. Bowlers do not know how to bowl; they are even unable to judge the pitch condition and bowl accordingly. They bowl as if they have not learnt cricket basics... unable to judge the pitch conditions and bowl accordingly is the order of the day with our players. and when the pitch does something and gets the opposition out, our batsmen do the trick and throw away the match... so, collectively, this team is only HYPE and nothing more than that. the media and some fans have no hesitation in keeping these HIGHLY TALENTED BY USELESS players in high esteem

Melbourne can be tough
by Raman Krishnaswamy on Jan 15, 2016 09:45 PM

The Indians will have crach their heads and work out a winning strategy for the 3rd ODI at Melbourne, as their record there is very bad. Out of 11 ODIs played so far, AUS has won 7 and IND 4. But the Indian victory is in matches played BEFORE 1990, when the team comprised of veteran players like Roger Binny, Ravi Shastri etc. The AUS victory is in the post 1990 matches

Advice followed but result same
by Raman Krishnaswamy on Jan 15, 2016 09:37 PM

Mr. Gavaskar's advice to the Indian Team for the 2nd match was " dismiss Smith cheaply and victory can be yours". Our tean did that, but AUS still won. What is your advice for the Melbourne Match, Sir ?

Bad omen
by Ashish Singh on Jan 15, 2016 08:15 PM  | Hide replies

It is observed that whenever Rohit Sharma scores a ton, India loses the match. His ton appears to be a bad omen for India. Earlier we had seen that whenever the "legend" Sachin scored a on, India lost the match. History repeats itself.

many cricket *pundits* wrote in Indian newspapers that this *would be the best chance for the Indian team ! (as though it ever had any chance in Australia).

I just want to know how many times Ishant Sharma was articulate to force a win for India in shorter version. This lanky guy doesn't know how to field and drop catches like egg from hand. A bowler who fails to gauge his line and length at his will, doesn't deserve a place in team and most importantly he is the senior most bowler and can't guide new bowlers. What I predicted yesterday proved correct and series is as good as lost.

Its time for Dhoni to hang his shoes
by atul bhalerao on Jan 15, 2016 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni removed Dravid, VVS, Sachin, Ganguly, Yuvi, Harbhajan, Sehwag, Gautam, Zaheer for poor form/fitness using his links with Sriniwasan. But looking at Dhoni his nor in Form nor fit to be captain.
