When Australia could take only 3 wickets of India, it is clear that the pitch was very placid/ What they did they spaced the innings very well and they had the targets before them. If India had batted second they would have also done the same. The major concern what i have is the field placing by Dhoni for the Spinners it was not run saving which allowed them to take minimum 6 runs a over without any effort. Dhoni did not apply aggressive field setting and this was a pitch where he should have brought his spinners earlier. My conclusion is that the pitch was the same to both and we did not accumulate the runs in the middle overs and played very cautiously though we had lot of wickets and fields placing was not correct
Yes, India should include 4 fast bowlers in their playing XI in the 2nd ODI at Gabba. Spinners are of no use in Australian conditions except in Sydney. Instead of 3 spinners in the side our wise selectors should have added 2 more fast bowlers so the tour management would have a choice.

Sorry, my gut feeling is, India once again lose next match whether you play 4-1 or any other combination. Our pace bowlers tend to forget line and length, once thay fail to get early wicket. Rohit Sir is speaking because of his 171* runs and don't forget he is most inconsistent. Sorry for negative remarks but truth prevails.
Dhoni's India can not even beat Australia B side whereas Dada's Team India used to lock horn with all time best Australian team!! This is the difference between a born leader and someone who thrived on hard work of previous captains.. Shame shame.
