WITH DEPLETED AUSSIE ATTACK FIGHT BECOMES EVEN

Before departure from Indian it looked as though Aus would have a definite edge but the way the aussies have depleted their bowling arsenal in the last 10 days for reasons unknown now it looks to be an even fight! While one Mitchell has retired the other is reported injured but what is intriguing is many names missing like those of Pattison, Nathan Lyon and few others. But why ? The Aussie rookie bowling squad now looks like imported Ranji bowling side! Even on the batting side no one really knows how many games David Warner is going to play ? My feeling is other than Stev Smith and Mitchel Marsh, who looks to be in top form both with bat and ball Indians could not have asked for more. Wonder why the Aussies are taking things so lightly ? Coming to the Indians, with batting made lot easier against a 2nd string bowling attack still the brittle middle order with couple of newcomers will be under test. I expect Rohit and Virat to dominate this bowling attack all the way w/o much of a problem. However it remains to be seen how the likes of Dhavan , Rahane ,Dhoni and the youngsters cope with the attack for a batting side still work in progress with many other prospects knocking the door. Ashwin too will be under watch with expectations of his bettering his WC performance by several notches in his new avatar. Last but not least with so much of inadvertent lucky breaks coming from the home side one has to be hopeful of one of the best captains like Dhoni to deliver.
