He is absolutely right. The issue is unnecessarily dragged. Offering a date is not crime.

Don't judge foreigners based on your Indian values. They belong to a completely different mindset & dating is a very common practice in that.

If it so common,then this thing wouldn't have been blown out of proportion.Flirting in front of more than thousand spectators and on TV cannot be termed a joke in any country.
