Why India can't produce such fantastic pitches ?
by Hindustani on Feb 28, 2016 01:19 PM

I really appreciate the pitches in Mirpur & instead of criticising those pitches, India should learn something & start preparing such pitches in India.

From yesterday's match it was evident that Players like SURESH RAINA, ROHIT SHARMA are only good on FLAT DEAD PATA pitches, when bowl comes nicely on to the bat at slow pace with no movement.
But yesterday when Aamir bowled at the speed of 150 & brought the bowl in at that pace our batsmen had absolutely no clue where the bowl is.

For Rohit Sharma & Rahane, before they bring their bat down, the bowl hit their pads.
Raina as usual surprised by the bouncer.

They all 3 were beaten for sheer pace & swing of Aamir.

Yuvraj Singh got beaten for almost 20-25 times, out of which almost 6-7 times the bowl went the millimetres close outside his off-stump or over the stump and 10-15 times millimetres away from brushing his bat to the keeper. He was REALLY LUCKY to survive.

THE ONLY BATSMAN WHO WAS EXCEPTIONAL & SHOWED THE GUTS TO STANDOUT AGAINST THE FIERY PACE & SWING, IN DIFFICULT TIMES AND WEATHER THE STORM FOR INDIA WAS VIRAT KOHLI.

Rest all were lucky to survive.

So, MSD, if you want to become a great team we need pitches like these where batsmen & bowlers both have chance. But you need to be a good batsman like Kohli not like Raina who scores only on dead pitches.
