SELFISH CRICKETER

When he's not totally out of form & is fit & still a good amount cricket left in him to offer for his country he got retried .

What was the need to retire ?? Just because you had earned enough fame & money ??

Was his not his duty to offer something more for his country if he could offer ??

OR If he has played for his country for 3-4 years more & performed , will that retirement be called DISGRACEFUL ?? NO .

LOOK AT INDIANS LIKE SACHIN / MSD / DRAVID / DADA , they will never do such selfish things - -

Hahahaha, you must be kidding...

Selfish ? Common.....

Do you know how many contracts & endorsement money these cricketers get when they continue playing ?
By retiring all those source of income stops completely.
So, nobody is full to stop those source of income & get retire.
The reason for his retirement could be personal or related to his injury or he may be thinking that his game was not up to the mark.

Australian & New-Zealanders never wait for anybody to kick them off, they retire gracefully themselves knowing the right time, contrary to our Indian batsmen like Tendulkar, Ganguly who just goes on & on with the pathetic form to earn more & more money from contracts & endorsements without caring for the team.

And BTW the amount of money Indian cricketers get is far more than New Zealanders get.
In New Zealand they don't even worship their cricketers as we do in India.

There are many examples of New Zealand cricketers, who had to start a new business or search for a new job to meet their needs or to earn their livelihood after they got retired from cricket.

Don't compare them with Indian players, they have earned enough money to feed their 7 generations to come.

If there is any man in cricket who had NEVER PLAYED FOR PERSONAL RECORDS then it's Brandon Macculam. He is the LAST CRICKTER IN THE LIST OF SELFISH ONES.

Even in his last test, he could have easily batted for long, scoring at slow rate to get a century or double-hundred, but he chose to stick to his natural attacking style, he had never changed his batting style.

I have never seen him getting slowed down while nearing his hundred or fifty.

The only guy which can come closer to him from India is SEHWAG.

Macculam was one of the best fielders in cricket, if not the best, a terrific runner between the wickets & a one of the BEST & CLEANEST STRIKER OF THE CRICKET BOWL.
