This team appears very promising and looks like all poised to win.

Re: TEAM INDIA CAN WIN WC - WHY NOT ??

Our batting is also not strong and top heavy. With Yuvi-Dhoni-Raina India will struggle to score 150 let alone 170 on the day top order fails

TEAM INDIA CAN WIN WC - WHY NOT ??

See , as far as Indian bating & fielding is concerned MSD doesn't have to worry much .

With Rohit Sharma / Dhawan / Kohli / Raina / Yuvraj / MSD himself / Pandya & Jadeja in the side bating dept is strong .

Our Bowling is not as strong as bating & a good batting side can score even 170-180 against us . Team India spinners are very good but fast bowlers may leak too many runs .

Home advantage during World cup is biggest advantage .

But yes , ultimately how you perform on that particular day , only matters rather than past records or present forms of players .

Lastly , no team can win all the matches , we may lose 1-2 but still can go all the way .

that Nehra still has to be a part of team India - he's already 36. Don't we have quality bowlers in domestic cricket?

If a player is performing the age can be ignored. The answer to your question is "NO".

Very rightly said moreover why is he (Nehra) getting picked up for IPL every time if he is not performing. Off course he is injury prone.

to bowl good 4 over age doesn't matter.. if he is performing as a bowler.. then no issues in selecting him

quality bowlers are not valued enough by BCCI . Kohli , Dhoni , Rohit etc. get paid more . The bowlers should be given more money than batsmen bacause the workload is more on them . Simple as that :)
