hey andy cry baby garpes are sour.

The great fast bowlers like Roberts,Holding,Marshall,Doonald were successful in india because they knew their craft.
Andy u are a below par bowler who gets exposed in flat track.
Instead of accusing others try to improve your game and by the way your performance is below average

Anderson
by Radhakrishnan on Dec 12, 2016 02:25 PM

As opposed to Captain Cook who has been fair in his assessment, Anderson seems to be taking out his frustration in not picking up wickets by berating Kohli. Anderson bowls at below medium pace and needs assistance from the pitch to get wickets. So, by the same tokenAnderson can be described as a "green pitch bully"!

cry baby

The same applies to Anderson too. He can bowl only on pitches which assists swing. Indian pace bowlers are far more effective than the big mouth Anderson. If facing pace is big test for any batsman then facing spin also should be a big test for any great batsman. I never understood why people judge batsman against pace only? Playing pace requires good eye-hand co-ordination and daring apart from that it does not require much of a technique. The technique of a batsman can best judged only against spin. You ask any great batsman, they will always say it is more difficult to play spin.
Moreover none of the pitches so far has been flat pitches. They simply ignore the fact that apart from Root, they do not have any quality batsmen in there team and as far as bowlers are concerned, not a single bowler has matched the quality of Indian bowlers.
I think instead of abusing the opposition team and playing mind games, English players should concentrate on winning the last game or at-least give a fight.

anderson comment on kholi
by PRADIP DATTA on Dec 12, 2016 12:40 PM

Anderson has never been very successful in the Sub-continent pitches. For him tailor-made swinging pitches is required. One thing is that he will never be a great bowler like Ian Botham, Chris Old, Bob Willis and others who has been successful in all pitches. We would also tell him that how Kohli has been successful in Australia? Of-course we know that some English critiques always lat & hail some one great till they get runs in their soil. They were even late to hail Sunny Gavaskar as a Great till he made that immortal 221 at Oval Test Match. We should not get excited that Anderson has not lauded Kohli's greatness. There will be always someone who want to be in the lime light speaking oppsite.

It is the other way round for Anderson also. If he considers himself to be a great bowler then he should also learn to bowl in unhelpful condition & should not expect the condition to be always helpful. By the way, great West Indian fast bowlers were very successful in Indian condition also.

Sheer frustration
by Pallab Banerjee on Dec 12, 2016 11:48 AM

This shows how the English team is frustrated. They came with a lot of hope that they would achieve the same feat which they did in 2012, but a lot of changes happened in the Indian team, this present lot do not totally depend on one individuals brilliance, as every body in the team contributes or try to contribute. Bowlers like Anderson and Broad are only good under English conditions and therefore are bound to fail here, but what surprises me are their spinners, they look woefully short of skills and lack of variations in their bowling. How could England expect to beat India with these kind of spinners, even Bangladesh would whack them to all parts of the ground.

Anderson wants kohli to score runs in seam friendly wicket, fair enough. Now if anderson thinks of himself - Does he consider himself a good bowler? if yes then why he does not expect him bowl well in adverse situation the way he expects kohli to do? England beat India in England fair and square. So did India. Why then such kind of derogatory comments?
