Ishant should assume the mantle
by Mike Teflon on Aug 09, 2016 06:44 PM  | Hide replies

Ishant sharma is the leader of the pack and should shoulder more responsibility. He's bowling great but he should come close to the wickets and land it in the corridor of uncertainty and take it away from there.

His lengths are perfect already. He just should pitch it just a tad outside the off-stump and move it away.

Mohd. Sami is doing very well but is a short man and isn't as sharp as Ishant. Yadav strays it too much even though he produces some magic deliveries.

More stuff is expected from Ishant Sharma..

With some resistance from Windies, a mouthwatering test match could be on cards.

Looking forward!

On the Contrary

It should be West Indies who should Get back to Winning ways !!

Indian team have Won 1 Test and Drawn the 2nd Test - So as per the sequence they should Lose the Last 2 tests to enable a West Indies Series Win - Else it will be a Major Embarrassment for The West Indies in their home ground.

West Indian Cricket is already Degenerating and they have to Beat India if they are to be taken Seriously as a Cricketing side in future.

NO worries.. India will beat Windies in 3rd test and seal the series..

Roston Chase did bat well but the pitch had eased up on 5th day due to constant showers, the previous day..

Yes,Chase batted well. However,India should have tried a bit more with some unconventional or out of the box thinking. I read Pujara turns the ball a lot with his leg spin. He should have been bowled about 3 or 4 overs which would have forced the batsman to lose concentration or become over confident. There was nothing to lose.

I agree in toto. I felt Ishant and Yadav could have put in more shoulder and got ever so closer to off stump and taking it away..

Well, a bit of competition is always welcome. After all, who wants to see a fully one-sided match.
