Linda panel observations are right, and they have to follow its recommendations, not only as a rule, but also for the good of cricket in the country.Other option is to remain as corrupt, inept, and as bombay mutual benefit society.Katju is known for his off-track remarks, and bcci made a wrong choice, in asking him to be its counsel.

by Sanjay Tomar on Aug 08, 2016 06:13 AM  | Hide replies

In India Supreme Court finds the way to correct the things for Country benefit but politician want only their benefit in illegal & faulty system not for country benefit finds the way to avoid the SC order now not going to work. People in India want solution for every problem but Politician in India are the biggest obstacle in this. Same is happening in BCCI.

LET each must understand the intentions of the law makers for making any law instead of making debatable interpretations. Nothing is unconstitutional as long as something is in public interest.

Justice Kadju is wise enough

When he says something of this sort there is substance. Things will come to known when unravelled by review bench and argued by eminent lawers.

In democracy who is supreme - Parliament or Supreme court. A constitutional amendment passed by parliament approved by constitutional head for appointment of judges was struck down by judges because it affects or infringe upon the current colligium system - a non transparent system - of appointment of judges. But same type of system cannot be allowed with other institutions. Does this a fair in democracy. Is it not BCCI is a private body.
