How about the various golf courses around the state of Maharashtra. And how about the vast stretches of greenery in Mahalaxmi and other racing grounds in Maharashtra. These need much more water than IPL cricket pithces.
IPL is a private league. Its of no interest for the nation. You can go anywhere you like. For we Indians its time to concentrate on the Olympics. We want more Dipa Karmakar's not Gujarat Lions or Pune Supergiants.
Save Test Matches & ODI Cricket - Instead of spending Lavishly on Useless T20 Local Club matches which have no meaning, BCCI should concentrate on promoting Original Test Cricket & ODI with International teams.
T20 is the worst form of cricket and it will not help Indian team in the long run.
Only Foreign cricketers are getting used to Indian wickets and spin, and they will be like spies to their respective countries which will devise strategies to beat India at home with IPL exposure.
BCCI is simply wasting its Money & Natural resources.
BCCI is behaving like the bullying kid that says, \"My bat, my terms and conditions\" If not, it will walk away with the bat so that nobody gets a game. If you want to be the laughing stock of the world, go right ahead.
IPL produces worthless players like Jadeja, Raina, Rohit, Hardik who fail at international level but gives other countries players like Watson, Marsh, Braithwaite etc. who harm India when they play here.
