Howmany of us would buy any product, merely bec it was endorsed by a celebrity? Whoever bought flats, merely on seeing Dhoni endorse the Co: were fools. I would not buy any product just bec a celebrity endorsed it. Who is Dhoni or Amitabh Bachchan to tell us to buy a product blindly? Celebrities have become so big that I doubt if they buy the product they endorse. Eg: big clebrities would not buy noodle soups, soaps or flats in Amrapali construction merely bec they appeared for their ad. Now don't blame the celebrity but yourself for buying a product blindly.
Rediff sucks... Avoided publishing my comments, even as i was not at all disrespectful towards Dhoni. Dhoni has to take moral responsibility for endorsing the builder...

Hoog! What moral responsibility should Dhoni take for endorsing Amrapali? Dhoni never had anything to do with the day to day functioning of the co: which we all know. Then how do you hold Dhoni responsible for Amrapali's failure? You need to find a scape goat for yr foolishness to buy flats in Amrapali projects, just bec Dhoni endorsed it.
from Responsibility, when it was required of him to firmly tell the builder to fulfill its commitment. He even made his wife, Sakshi, to resign as Director of the company. He made his crores and left the buyers in a lurch, who may have bought flats as he was projected as the face of Amrapali. Dhoni should not be absolved of his responsibility. Action, legal if any, should also be initiated against him.
