Harsha deserves it
by venkatesh h on Apr 12, 2016 09:05 PM  | Hide replies

Harsha has never played cricket. What right he has to talk about cricketers and the game, when he has not even played a single game at any level. It\'s like someone who has no experience in music, criticizing a musician. Let this be an eye opener for him.

Has Sharad Pawar, Srinivasan, Manohar, Rajeev Shukla has ever played cricket ? Some of them may not be even knowing how to hold cricket bat properly. still they are heading the Cricket body of the country and playing with future of young cricketers and their careers and future prospects. That way crores of viewers has not played cricket or competitive cricket and still watch cricket matches with interest. Do they have to stop watching matches ? Harsha Bhogle is holding masters degree in Management from IIM Ahmedabad, Indias top Institute and Harsh could have earned high salary, perks with position and respect but his love from Cricket has brought him as an commentator and he has vast knowledge of the game than most of the Board members whose main interest is only minting money in the name of cricket and gets position, power, perks and luxury.

IPL ouster of Mr.Harsha Bhogle.
by Anjan Sarkar on Apr 12, 2016 07:03 PM

Mr. Harsha Bhogle has been quite a good commentator of the game -Cricket, as he has mostly been a narrator with some knowledgeable analysis. It is rather sad and surprising if some vindictive reason is behind this elimination from the IPL commentator's panel.

Harsh Bhogle axed to pave way for undignified cricketers
by aribam ramasanker on Apr 12, 2016 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI is creating space for the ousted undignified cricketers in the role of commentator. Playing cricket is something and commenting on the cricket is something much bigger and more complicated. It is an art, it needs intellect and expression , listeners judge the quality of the commentators. BCCI bosses should reconsider their position on Hatsha. Old generation cricketers have tried and failed in this art many a times. Except Ravi sashtri and sunny, foreign as well as Indian, none of the cricketers are good commentator. If it is true tht big B initiated his ouster, it is very sad for him to interfere and vindictive against HB. His knowledge on the game is much deeper than any cricketer. BCCI PLEASE INDUCT HB , no damage to you ego and business.

BCCI is an idiot board in India. Absolutely useless. Unless the Board is headed by people like Shashank Manohar, Sharad Pawar, Srinivasan it will be an idiotic board only

Even if Big B has twitted something directly or indirectly about Harsh Bhogle, the IPL board should not give any undue importance to the person who don't have even 10 percent knowledge on cricket that Harsha Bhogle have.Harsha is more educated than Big B having masters degree in management from IIM, Ahmedabad and he could have excelled in any field and could have enjoyed fat pay, perks, position and respect but his love for the game has forced him to be a commentator. It is a loss for the viewers who were having one of the finest commentator. Let the people without self respect and like politics and chamchagiri of the board continue their position. There are very few Bhogles for Indian cricket.

Dear Harsha, why you bother about the people who dont appreciate your role as a good commentator all these years and didnt show even a normal courtesy before rejecting you. You are holding a masters degree in Management from Indias top educational institution IIM, Ahmedabad whose students gets recognisition from all over the world and gets best position, pay, perks and respect. If people have rejected you without valid reasons it is their loss and as a self respected person, you should never work for such people. You have never played any competitive cricket and so do many of the administrators of IPL some of who even dont know how to hold even cricket bat properly but are on the board of affairs of IPL for the reasons best known to them. The knowledge about cricket you have most of the administrators of IPL dont have 10% of knowledge you have. Dont try to know about the reasons you expelled and dont care for the people who dont appreciate your talent and are responsible for your departure as commentator of IPL. You have better future ahead and my best wishes to you.

Harsha can be regarded as one of the finest and lively cricket commentators of the World. I request the BCCI to include him the panel of commentators for the ongoing IPL.

I don't know who says what on Harsha. But I feel he is the best commentator in INDIA. Here I want to mention which many may not agree: I feel Sanjay Manjrekar is unnecessarily praise Virat Kohli when he bats well or not. As commentator you should be neutral. This is not the case for other commentators.
