Politics again...it's height to lose somebody of the stature of Harsha Bhogle from any coverage for that matter. SOme king maker must not have been comfortable with him so.....these egoists can do anything unethical!!!!

He kept us glued to the tube even when the proceedings were boring. Was quite knowledgeable about the game of cricket. Wonder why he has been removed. Politics ?

Sad to see Harsha Miss out

It is really Boring to see IPL 9, as it has Hindi commentary for the matches.

I am not against Hindi commentary - Yes it is India's National Language and pride. But Hindi should not be marketed with Cricket, which is predominantly an English game.

It is English Commentary that I like to listen, atleast we can improve our Vocabulary and how to frame sentences (Most Indians are Bad in Speaking, Reading & Writing correct English) .

Harsha Bhogle speaks really Good English alongside Sunil Gavaskar, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Samir Kochchar and others.

BCCI had issues paying Large amounts of Money to Sunil M Gavaskar, Sanjay Manjrekar, Anil Kumble during South Arican tour of India. Maybe they found Harsha Bhogle also too expensive.

Harsha Bhogle is one of the only sensible commentators India can boast of. Most of the others are simply noise generators.

Hindi is not the national language. The constitution defines both Hindi and English as the official languages. Hindi is the most popular language. Nothing is called or declared national language.

I agree. Watching IPL with Hindi commentary is boring. At least one other channel should broadcast with English commentary. Even the runners at the bottom of the screen are poor. They should learn from the T20 World Cup runners.

It was AB who talked silly first. Harsha clarified his position in the most dignified manner. Bhogle is too decent a guy to silly.
