A selfish attitude of Mr. Thakur. Give money to the rich states and let the poor states and poor in those states suffer. What a shame.

BCCI Good Business-Earn n Share,amongst yourself
by aribam ramasanker on Apr 07, 2016 08:01 AM

Mr Thakur have made his point loud and clear. Instead of extending support to potential cricketers to different regions of the country BCCI 's motive is solely monetary gain. In between a fraction of it is spend in the name of nurturing cricket. Change in its approach will benefit the NE region and rest of the country.

Indian states dont compare to other countries, ours is one family,we have responsibility to be fairly justfull to all states, are you not ashemed to justify 66 crore given to gujarat and NE states mere 50 lakhs , there should be a limit to your justification. What great your home state contributed to criket then how come it hase big share ? As long as people like you exist India will continue as divided region wise ,language, caste creed etc. Big salute to SC. Thank you Honourable Judges for your celestial observation

Khudos to Supremen court
by NJayakumar on Apr 06, 2016 09:27 PM

The earnings of BCCI through Media ads was not the norm in 70s-80s. The ad earning are indirectly money collected from common public-of all states, and hence cannot be termed as cricketers earning. It is the poor peasants money looted by BCCI and distributed amoung a few - a capitalist concept. In a democracy the argument of Supreme court is quite valid and apt. Had it not been for the courts the politicians and such such public figures (Public figure - due the hero worship attitude of poor Indians, not widely seen so widely in other countries) and the mutual benefit coteries would have had their go.
