When people are struggling for water you do not need cricket to be hosted and see the audacity of Mr Shukla who makes the statement that if little quantity of water used for preparing grounds is going to solve the drought situation it is different reflects absolute arrogance and it will be similar to statements from citizen who can also say if giving up small subsidy of Gas is going to solve India's poverty then it is different. Let him remember that Every drop of water saved will quench the thirst of at least few. Why Shiv Sena is keeping quiet. They get enraged on small issue why they do not react to such issue. Why should BCCI and IPL care about drought and farmers..its a sport at the end of the day! Just because corrupt politicans is not doing enough doesnt mean sport should be stopped. IPL provides entertainment and hapiness to millions, and we love the brand and cant wait for it to start. There are problems everywhere, doesnt mean that certain things which improve our daily life should be sacrificed. There are other methods(like having innovative irrigation methods, compensating farmers, subsidies) which can help, and not putting blame on IPL
