Re: Who is accountable ?

What do you mean? In Indian cricket specially, captain is responsible for the win and teammates are responsible for loss. At least that has been seen for the last 6-7 years.
The three person who gave okay have different approach now..Sachin is involved in many activity politics, football etc so his involvement is low, Lakshman is sobber guy won`t force things, that leaves DADA, dada always want aggression, so do Virat, Shastri is like Camelion, to impress others he can disguise so he he is pretending to be aggressive to please DADA and Kohli...some how continuing in his glorified position director...haha not Coach...both are same. Have u ever heard such a name in Sports event

Nice fiction Naveen, add a few females and it will be a wonderful plot for a middle class daily serial which can be stretched out to a couple of years.
Mr Rajiv Shukla is rightly put it that IPL is a big event watched in 152 nations and there are bound to be controversies. The cricket fans in 152 countries should also be sport enough to treat IPL as an entertainment event of the year and not expect it to be as clean a sport as test matches. Rigging of the game should be accept as a part of the package as much as betting is a part of this format.

Let them accept in open that it is rigged, nobody will cry then.

what emotional blackmail? I don't get you...he was blaming pawar Shukla and who knows whom for shastri remaining as director...I just pointed out that these decision was taken not by Shukla pawar etc..

Maybe you should Hindustanis message again L0L, he never mentioned anything about Ravi Shastri. Your reply at 9.24 is L0L.
And coming to your emotional blackmail, you claim that you dont care what others think but you want others to think good about Ravi Shastri because SRT, SG and VVS think so L0L.

nothing of the sort...i only asked whether they disagreed with the decision making trio...
if you think I want them to think good about ravi shastri because the trio thinks so what can I do?
they have every right to disagree with the trio's decisions....

All I wanted to say that these people have done far more harm to Indian cricket than Ravi Shastri has done. I am not saying that we won't get a better coach or mentor than Ravi Shastri and he only should continue, maybe if we will get somebody like Gary Kirsten then it will be obvious to remove Shastri. But the real culprits of spoiling Indian cricket are those 4 people which I have mentioned. They were also actively involved in IPL which is the source of controversy. As far as Shastri is concerned let's give him some chance to prove his mettle, don't forget under his coaching we won Srilanka tour even after losing first test match, we came from 1-0 down, this has never happened before outside India. So give him some more chance if he fails then he should be removed definitely.

@Sunil Vaidya
You have completely understood my point. I wanted to say that the real harm to Indian crcket was done by those 4 people. I have not mentioned anywhere about who had elected Ravi Shastri. And as far as Ganguly, Sachin and Laxman are concerned they are far more authoritive and sensible people to select a coach than above 4 people as their knowledge and experience of Cricket is second to none.
if players are enjoying why should it mean it is because of presence or absence of somebody? cannot people just enjoy themselves? why should it be at the cost of somebody?

Because all present players are supposed to be the ones who were raised and supported by Dhoni. And it is a common understanding among many of your co-fanboys that Kohli and Shastri combination forced Dhoni to retire.
Re: Re: hi
by Sunil Vaidya on Sep 18, 2015 01:44 AM
why should I care what others think....I don't think anybody forced dhoni to retire...that was on his mind for long time and he had announced many years back that he will retire from 1 format in 2015...

Did Dhoni also say that he will abandon a sinking ship and run away in the mid of a series? L0L

it is decision of ganguly sachin and vvs to keep shastri as the team director....
so you want to clean these 3 up in the interest of indian cricket?
Re: Clean-up job required in the interest of cricket

right. Include Shastri also in the list as he is there because of his cha...agiri of Srinivasan.as a player he was absolute mediocre. How can he be a good coach?
Re: Re: Clean-up job required in the interest of cricket
by Sunil Vaidya on Sep 17, 2015 09:32 PM
so you disagree with ganguly sachin and vvs who think shastri is good and want him to continue?
Re: Re: Re: Clean-up job required in the interest of cricket
by Sunil Vaidya on Sep 17, 2015 09:34 PM
