What about Dennis Lilly, Jeff Thomson, Glenn McGrath, Wasim Akram, Ian Botham and all bowlers of todays generation from Auatralia, South Africa and England? do they all sendoff as gently with a victory smile as you said? they smile only to their teammates and never with opposition players.

I guess India has developed this tendency of being on the backfoot and it has gone deeper into ourselves that we want to pretend to be gentleman of the game. Manjerekar, Gavaaskar etc. were known for their gentlemnanship and tolerance... that was one flavor of the game but now a new aggressiveness has come to the game. Players are putting their best effort to prove the point that what you could not do for so many years, we can do that... at least give it a try rather than mutating it. What has Manjarekar achieved in his career? Has his brand of game, brought India success in all the games he played? If not then who is he to stop this style to flourish? We should give a chance to this energetic young chap. Let us wait and watch. If they can write a new chapter in Indian Cricket history then nothing will be better than this. I wish all the best to VK and Ravi duo.
There is nothing wrong in showing aggression on the field, Ishant should have controlled it a little bit to avoid match ban. But having said that Sanjay Manjrekar is never happy when somebody play against his style of play which is playing defensively and keep your head down showing complete surrender. When Sachin Tendulkar was at his peak, scoring runs like a machine and single handedly winning matches for India, that time also this Manjrekar was keen to criticise Tendulkar for nothing serious reasons. He was always jealous of Sachin Tendulkar and always use to speak negatively about him. This is his habit. Manjrekar, Harsha Bhogle and many Indian commentators have this habit of criticising our own players unnecessarily and don't have courage or guts to speak a single word against the opposition team this is called the crab mentality of these people that they can not digest that we are performing better

Well the team has got its aggressiveness and killer instinct at last. This needs to be continue down under but it should be controlled by letting it seen on the surface. I do not know why Ishant got worked up so much with the opponent team. No one has enquired into the incident and the details. There is no smoke without fire.
"When the anger of the victor is aimed at the vanquished, it's a brawl waiting to happen."" Dead right Sanjay and happy that you have told the truth and belled the cat at last

When white people show aggression then we accept it meekly and take it up since most of them are super powers or developing nations. They have shown us the way, let us give it back to them.
