Though, Ishant's behavior was unacceptable the quantum of punishment, awarded is unacceptable.
The sentence could have been a suspended one. BCCI should appeal against the sentence. Different yardsticks were applied against England and OZ players in similar offenses, in the past.

The actions of Ishant were most disgusting & inappropriate throughout the third test.I don't know as to how he escaped harsher penalty for his almost psycopath action of hitting himself on head after dismissing Chandimal?He should be disinfected,shaved & asked to remove thick band of charms around his neck before being allowed to play international cricket
