Sehwag is the victim of Politics by Dhoni.. Sehwag should have been given a "Golden Handshake" by the concerned executives for what he has done for Indian Cricket. Sehwag, "Hats Off" to you..Tusi GREAT Hai...

when Kapil Dev was given more than enough time to break bowling records, Tendulkar was given an option to decide how much to play and when to retire, why a little generosity was not granted to Sehwag ?

As per BCCI rule book, Sachin, Kapil r genious, but NOT Sehwag !!! We r saluting Sehwag for his brave remarks on BCCI...
It is true that BCCI and state cricket boards are selective in recognising/honouring the talented players. BCCI just dumps a cricketer if he is non-performing in few matches. Whereas certain players continue to get the patronage and support of administrators/selectors despite their poor show. It is obvious that Indian cricket is full of favouritism and politicks.
the explosive sehwag has not been given full honour on his retirement. hE should have been asked to select venue of his last match. This is poly tics combined bet. captain & BCCI. There should beeven procedure to be followed while dropping any player which is their in Australia.

Yes, he was my favorite player and he deserved better. It was unfortunate that just when Ganguly was fading out, Sehwag had a lean patch. Otherwise he would have been the captain instead of Dhoni. While I like Dhoni too, it was Sehwags badluck.

yes, Dhoni will fall. He tries to optimize within the team he has, but does not have the killer instinct of Sourav or his vision to pick good players for the future.
His tactics have mostly been copied by other teams now, quite like what happened of Prakash Padukone earlier.
If Dhoni leaves too late or after the World Cup, India will have no time to re-build.
An acumen to personally find out good talents is needed from Dhoni, rather than from what is given to him. His approach is more business-like now. He lacks support, actually; and is a lone wolf in protecting his image (team), for which he has to scuttle out chances of players who may overshadow him in performance.
Alas, no-one seems to have noticed this trend that has crept in. Everything is caught up in an 'image' of a WC winning captain which WILL come crashing down one day.

rather, is 'showing himself' as a pitiful lone wolf with useless players surrounding him. That's why you will also not see him surrounded with new players....the same jaddu's, raina's going on for decades: pass or fail, doesn't matter.
I've stopped watching cricket for this theatrical act being put up now and again.
Talent and application-wise, current team is so poor that bangladeshi new-medium pacers put them out, or they have to fight with pitch curators to win at home also.
Forget foreign lands now, the time of Dada is over; and so of the team he had beautifully put together.
Well Replied Virender Sehwag - When he said Sachin has more centuries than your age (quite sarcastic).
But look where Michael Clarke's career ended - Australia lost The Ashes to England and probably Michael Clarke was terminated after being The Worst ever Australia captain to have lost most Ashes series.
