With Ashwin just about recovering from a side strain and Mishra legally entangled in Bangalore, Srinath's comments look very optimistic. Hopefully our groundsmen will help us win this Test series.

It is not the groundsmen, but the BCCI who will fix the victory for India with its enormous money-power..

Let us not bring the game to disrepute with wild assumptions. If the BCCI had such clout and would lower themselves to such levels, why did they allow the curator to prepare a non-spinning track in the Mumbai ODI?

Sorry it would not make much of a difference for the simple reason our so-called fast bowlers if there is no swing are easy target for the South African batsmen for when they pitch the ball, it hardly rises above knee level and no wonder AB Devilers and co relished Indian bowling at Mumbai one-dayers.

After thorough spanking in both shorter formats, we have lost interest in this series as result seems will no different in tests also.
