BCCI has committed a sin against the only triple century maker
by pradeep agarwal on Oct 29, 2015 01:24 PM

He scored it twice & missed one by just 8 runs & look at the way he was treated to accommodate their favourite aging star at number four.Sehwag would have brought stability & aggression at this place that was sacrificed to massage the ego of a well past his best player.

I have no doubt in my mind that Shewag was the most attractive batsman, India has produced ever. He scored 2 triple century & nos of double hundreds. All of his innings were commendable & no bowler of the world had any answer to counter his batting style. His magnificent knock of 195 at Melbourne, I will never forget. I do not like cricket any more without Shewag, Sachin, Dravid, Gamguly, Laxman & of course Anil Kumble my favourite bowler. I rate Sunil Gavaskar as all time great Indian batsman, I have seen ever but certainly Shewag was that who forced us to see the game of cricket.

Retired well after being dumped from International Cricket
by Atul Nayak on Oct 29, 2015 09:56 AM

This is what happens when the senior cricketers try to stick to their ego and do not retire when they can no longer play well or contribute to their country. Infact he is now a failure even in IPL so no use of blaming the selectors and others. As he rightly mentioned he should have retired about 5 years ago. But big money makes every one crazy and continue and then blame others for their failure. Other senior criketers should take a cue from this and retire well in time and give opportunity to the young talent to enter at the right time.

dhoni was first made captain in 2007. Was that why you wanted to retire? because you were not made the captain?

he was made captain on sachin's recommendation...so sachin had to pacify you and make you continue because he did not suggest your name?

You really think politically correct statements can be trusted?

what is politically correct in these statements...it seems like they are giving their genuine opinions...what is the reason you see politically correct statements in them?

and if both sachin and sehwag had said that ganguly was the best captain they played under what would have been politically incorrect in that?

The tag of "best captain I played under" has no relevance. Just because Sehwag said Kumble was the best captain, does it mean Kumble supported everyone? If he was in good terms with Dhoni, maybe he would have told the same about MSD also.

If your agenda was to target Gangulys fans, sorry for disturbing L0L.
