It is understood Dhoni is no more big hitters or game finishers. Raina & Dhawan has lost touch completely. Patel is simply useless as a allrounder. After Yuvaraj departure no body in that slot can go for big hits or finish the game when big chases are required. Few players needs to be droped now immediately.
Indian Team and West Indies are on par and there is not much differences in their batting and bowling. West Indies fielders are much better than Indian fielders............ BCCI must act firmly and with commitment. Again it is surrounded by politicians and their pet players............ The best thing to happen will be India must somehow come to West Indies standard. All parents will be happy to have their children studying hard and truly.......
Off late seen him giving tons of excuses. Continued with round the wicket strategy to DeKock inspite of he hitting seamers all over the park. Jadeja and Mohit Sharma are his favorites who are not international cricketers at all. He has off late given very flimsy excuses. Just read his comments written above. They are very funny and he manages to keeps us confused :)
If u r resistant to changes, then sooner or later the opposition teams will easily figure u out.. if the selectors have picked a player like gurkeerat mann in their scheme of things, then that's not for the purpose of making him sit in the bench. U have to play him at least once come what may in a five match bilateral series. Had ganguly not pushed in yuvraj singh at number 4 position during the mini world cup against australia, we wouldnt have got such a brilliant player in limited overs cricket. AND dont go in to every match thinking u will have to always bowl 50 overs in the match. Dhoni always enter into the field thinking who will bowl the 48th and 50th over. That thinking should be there in the back of ur mind. In the third one-dayer in which ashwin got injured, he had picked up a wicket in his very first over. Dhoni immediately replaced him thinking that, that was the right time to get through the overs of partimers since a wicket has fallen. The result, the pressure was released and SA scored 269 runs batting out the full 50 overs and ended up winning the match by around 20 odd runs. Unless Dhoni get rid of his defensive approach and the lack of faith in the newcomers, the team will never improve. I recently saw an interview of anjinkya rahane and was shocked to hear that he had to sit in the bench for 17 test matches before he was given a chance. Remember we were loosing test series abroad 4-0, while all of this were going on!!!!

I don't think any is any issued with India batting, the problem with India is there inconsistents bowlers or else we can say horrible/terrible bowlers. If we can get 2 or 3 good fast bowlers, India will be a very competitive team even in foreign soils

when some body scores 400 and above, it is very difficult for any team to get nearer to it leave alone chasing it. But when Rahane and Dhawan were batting, there was a ray of hope. But quickly wickets started falling and againa Raina was a failure in this crucial match. Losing Rohit and Kohli cheaply have evaporated any idea of winning
This failure is responsible of BCCI , remove dhoni as captain, he has done enough. But , continuing with CSK player for repeated failure . Remove Ravishastri. Introduce new upcomming players from ranji matches. Drop rohit , shekar, raina, mohit,harbhajan , all old staff, drop kholi for some matches. stop BCCI politices for name and money.
This black Beauty not only impressed his team with his bowling attack, but also made indian batsmen to strive for runs as they could not able to make so many runs in his spell.Take for exmaple : The 1st ODI in kanpur, he has been given a ball in the 50th over where Dhoni who is a great finisher could not able to trnasform into 4s or 6s (finally got out when he tries to hit) becoz of his consistencncy in his line length.Really he became a great Asset to the SA team.
