India No Longer Needs Mumbai Players
by Bigtribe on Oct 26, 2015 11:26 PM  | Hide replies

1. Talking big merely on basis of history of Indian players has become a myth for Indian cricket.
2. Gavaskar has become a nuisance and a big time Dhoni basher - high time he needs tobe sent to old age home.
3. Dhoni has his record in place to speak for itself - best captain ever in India.
4. Game is safer in the hands of Dhoni and players from East or south.

Game is not safe under Dhoni alone. Game would have been safer if Srinivasan had been alongside Dhoni. Now that Srinivasan, Dhoni's Godfather, is out,Dhoni is finding the going tough. Time for him to go too.

Mr Srinivasan, owner of India Cements. India Cements have a Cricket Team for many decades and many stalwarts from TN have played in that team and owner of CSK. It is needless to spell about his cricketing knowledge. Do you know whether any other person related to cricket held/hold any position in BCCI.

Dhoni alone cannot be blamed
by WILSON CHANDRAN on Oct 26, 2015 10:56 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni failed but not stated as above. Barring the two, in other three games Rohit has scored mere 40 runs. Similarly Kohli also like Rohit. Shikar and Raina very poorly performed. In bowling all the pacers performed very badly. Despite with such weaknesses the team won two out of five. Till the decider no adverse comments were made. But in the last match because of poor bowling the batsmen were forced to play under pressure right from the start. The team is playing without a coach since the world cup. Who is going to take that responsibility

No he cannot.

But it is time for him to retire.

I guess Saha the WK batsman proved his worth as a batsman too.

As a captain we know how good Dhoni is once Dravid, Tendulker, Laxman and kumble retired.

Everybody is going to retire at one stage. Gavaskar said that Dhoni is having another 3/4 years game in him. During 2011 world cup no Kumble, Dravid and Laxman played. Tendulkar too not fared much in that world cup. In 2015 world cup continuously Dhoni's team won 7 matches with this team only, though failed in Semis. At one point of time India stood FIRST in all type of formats. His winning PERCENTAGE is always about 60%. It is unfair to degrade when fails and hail when he wins. Still he is the best captain and player ever India had.

Rank given to Kohli does not justify. He has not scored in 3 odi\'s.Coming at No 4 or 3 does not substantiate low scores. We should give our bowlers daily 2 hours of batting practice especially in the nets during the series. our bowlers including seasoned Harbhajan, Ravichandra despite beginning his career as opener, Akshar,Bhuvaneshwar including W.K..
Dhoni have forgotton batting. Our team like olden times of Pankaj Roy, now consists of 5 only batsmen, 5 only bowlers and wicketkeeper is only keeping. This should be changed . I have seen Gary Sobers scoring centuries with tailenders.

India beat Pakistan in Pakistan (&probably for the last) time under Ganguly. India won a test match against the full Aussie team in Australi, with biased umpiring a test earlier, but he is not the best captain.

India beat England in England and West Indies in West indies under Ajit Wadekar, but he is not the best.

For bhakts it is Dhoni who is the best captain as he won fixed WC.

Nobody said ganguly, ajit wadekar wasnt the best captain no idea where you got this from. They all are still the best captains india had. The so called term of yours "Dhoni Bhakts" said that he is with them when it comes to records of captaincy. Nobody in the last many years as a captain able to give a 4-0 whitewash against aussie team i guess someone you dont like did it. Noone has accomplished 50 over worldcup,20 over worldcup and a champions trophy in England but again it was done by a captain who you dont like. India never won a test series and odi series for quite a few years but again he did it on his first tour as captain guess who? The captain who you dont like.
Anything else you want me to add please feel free to ask.
And NO OFFENCE
PEACE

bowlers failed
by KARAN on Oct 26, 2015 09:25 PM

Mohit sharma and bhuvaneshwar kumar bowled india out with their poor, uncontrolled, wayward, and very unintelligent high school standard bowling. When a bats hits donor somebody try to bowl a right length ball so that batsman does not free his hand and play.Absence of Ravichandran Ashwin was a big issue

GIVING KOHLI 8 AND DHAWAN 5 OUT OF 10 IS UNJUSTIFIED. THEY BOTH DESERVE 02/10 AND ALONGWITH RAINA SHOULD BE SHOWN THE DOOR

@parika Even dhoni scored 92 in the 2nd odi which helped us square the series to 1-1 how about you mention that as well?
And Also the rating is not at all justified how does kohli earn 8/10 when he just scored 2 good innings and dhoni earns 4/10 even though he also had 2 good innings. You are hating and calling people backing dhoni as dhoni bhakts so should we be calling you kohli bhakt?

Records could go wrong?
by Raman Krishnaswamy on Oct 26, 2015 08:08 PM

Out of the 76 matches played between SA and India, 48 were won by SA, 25 by India and 3 were drawn. India should have taken this to account while planning the team ans strategy. Perhaps they thought, since out of the 28 matches played in India, they had won 15, while SA had won 13, they could always beat SA in Indian Soil.
