Zaheer you were the most promising bowler as you played in your 1st world cup match and there after. Loved your bowling style. Will miss you on the field.
Zaheer Khan the great fighter will always be remembered for his invaluable contributions to Indian cricket..While wishing him a healthy/long/prosperous life,I wish,BCCI keeps him associated with Indian Cricket and hand him over the responsibility to groom and train our budding talents & concert them into fiery fast bowlers.I am sure he can...
Your Journey started & ended well too. Playing international cricket so long is only for select few. For people like me, journey never took off! All the Best.
Zaheer Khan is one of the greatest bowler just after Kapil Dev.His contribution in India Cricket is immense. With Kapil panji ,he had so many good bowlers and supportive bowlers with him.But Zaheer was like the one man army.He nurtured the juniors as supportive bowler. His "never die down" attitude and regaining fitness and returning to cricket arena again after every injury is really impressive and a great learning subject for the aspirants. He was too much aggressive at the beginning but later mixing of aggressiveness with calmness had made him a thinking bowler who helped India winning in foreign soil.Dada had the great roles to make him mature and courageous.Wish Zaheer all the best for the rest of life.

Zaheer's absence was felt badly as a lead bowler when India was doing well in all format of game. He usually took wickets in early session of game resulting pressure on opposition with his reverse swings. Now there is not a good lead fast bowler resulting heavy scores to face with. Problem with present lot of fast bowlers are inconsistent show. India lost many matches in Zaheer's absence. We wish him good life post cricket and BCCI must see how his rich experience can be used for present lot.
