He was a strike bowler for India for a long time in all forms of cricket. It is his decision to retire and he should know better for himself.
Now that he is free from cricketing field, BCCI should make use of his indepth knowledge of pace bowling and be a mentor for numerous young pace bowlers who are coming up in the scene.
Rajeev Shukla is not that interested on the fact India is loosing one of its great cricket servant but he is focused to know whether zaheer will continue playing in all-fixed IPL.Thats the obvious outcome when in India cricket is controlled by these M.C's who only knows how to use cricketers to fill their pockets. Nevertheless Zaheer thanks for your enormous service that u have provided to the nation. Now we want u as our bowling coach for national team.
arguably the best indian fast bowler after javagal srinath...zaheer khan is a true sportsman, delicate mix of aggressiveness and sportsmanship. Present indian cricketers can surely learn a great deal from him.

Yes, fully agree. There has been some really great bowling and infact some great batting as well. We will miss Zaheer...
Sombre mood after hearing ZAK retiring from International Cricket. Zaheer had been the spearhead of Indian bowling attack for almost a decade. BCCI should be prudent enough to use him as Bowling Coach immediately and ripe benefits further from Him. Wish RAjeev Shukla and the BCCI should show similar proactiveness in casting him in that position as they are in announcing the news of his retirement. Good Luck Zaheer. Wish you have a great life ahead!!!!
