Yes he was unfair against at least couple of players especially gambhir and sehwag..for whatever reasons as Gambhir may be bit agresive but far better.captain than Dhoni..He was not winning on fluke like Dhoni...Much sharp than dhoni..but not supported by Srini and.CSK gang..

Greatest JOKE of 2015!!! wining 2007, T20, world cup, champion trophy are all fluke?. Even 2015 performance is also good. Dhoni has to be retained till next world cup with same team. Any captain has their like and dislike. Every captain is for like minded people for team discipline. As such Dhonis' plan worked out for india. he is the best captain Kapil and Ganuguly.

Gambhir and Sehwag had attitude problems and the way you commented it is clear that you too have attitude problem.Cricket is not played by captain alone, it is team game and everybody should contribute putting aside their egos and attitudes. The only players who support Dhoni in the current team are Ashwin, Bhuvneswar Kumar and Suresh Raina. These four players can not win you a match.
Advocated Younisthan by sending Dada,Sehwag,Rahul,Bhajji etc. to reserve bench. Now will he follow the same rule for himself at 34 yrs age?? Lets see..

Did i just see bhajji play in t-20's and today odi match or it was his spirit playing?? "youngistan" team it seems. Dada retired on his own noone asked him to retire and so did dravid. Sehwag and gambhir are out of the team bcoz of their form. Please think before you write about anything.

Just a simple question Were Sehwag,Gambhir and Yuvraj dropped due to politics? Or their forms? Yuvraj was backed by dhoni so many times in the 2011 cwc,the t-20 wc in 2012,2014 when greats of cricket called him to be dropped. Yuvraj hasnt performed well after the t-20 2014 be it IPL or Ranji Trophy. Regarding rahane part, Rahane is a good player when he plays in top-3 ad accomadating him on top-3 right now is impossible, and not even dhoni what about kohli shuffling rahane's batting position in the test team just so rohit sharma could play well in middle-order.

No one will disagree with the fact that, under the captaincy of MSD we have won all major tournaments , but MSD must remember that all players have equal contribution in that. But having said that whatever he has achieved was his glorious past, the harsh truth at present is MSD is not even 1/3 of the player he was some years ago and that's bound to happen with every player. Even the all time genius like Dravid, SRT, Ganguly could not stop it. So, instead of behaving like a dictator and blaming all others for defeats every time, it's time for MSD to introspect and retire gracefully. MSD should take the leaf out of the book from all time greats like Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, Michael Clarke, Mahela Jayawardhane, Kumar Sangalara who were the best in the business but all retired gracefully and right time and due to it the respect for all of them manifolds in the minds of cricket fans.

yes. everybody is equal contribution for any thing CAPTAIN is important. Why India win in 1983 - BEST CAPTAIN. AFTER 1983, no captain has done well even though TENDULKAR was in great form. Only after MSDs' entry tendulkar tasted the world cup victory
during warm ups usually the Indian team plays football and the visiting team plays cricket or its related activity like catching, diving etc. is this the reason why our batsmen get lbw more than other visitors
Dhoni does not have the support of Kohli and many others in the team. Post the test series in Sri Lanka even Ashwin has veered towards Kohli and is no more Dhoni's go to man. Dhoni is getting back what he gave to others while weeding out Laxman, Dravid and Ganguly from the team and sidelining Sehwag , Gambhir and Yuvraj. It is clear that some players are deliberately underperforming and this is coinciding with Dhonis miserable run as a batsman. As they say what goes up needs to come down. Dhoni should answer with his bat and irrespective of the outcome of this ODI series he should call it quits and move on. When your form has deserted you and you also do not enjoy confidence of your team members in the dressing room it is best to move out. Even in test matches the retiring of Dhoni in the midst of the series was seen as a result of internal turmoil in the dressing room. I wouldnt be surprised if in the present ODI series if South Africa thrash us in a couple of matches and win the series, DHoni may call it quits before the 5th ODI itself

I agree to you on this. Virat Kohli should be removed from the ODI as he is interested in doing the politics.

Animesh Das you really think the way virat kohli is batting he should be there in the playing XI since you are questioning the batting ability of dhoni. Dhoni has scored more runs in 2015 than kohli.

They are also facing heat but Captain has to take the blame along with credit & rewards that are plenty for him till date.It is quite likely that we may be on the losing side again as momentum is now with protean.
