The string of successes were the result of the hard work of other team members also. Dhoni did not bring the successes from his house.

Venkatesh, I have no problem if people praise Dhoni.I am just allergic to his fanboys. Sorry if your message was misinterpreted.
I think we gotta respect ms dhoni for the work he has done so far. And e is still playing well apart from these 2 t-20 matches. Remember kohli last scored a fifty in odi's against pakistan in the wc after that he has struggled whereas dhoni has scored better than him. I m not saying that dhoni is better than kohli what i m saying is e=when a team loses its not inly the captains fault, its bcoz the team didnt contribute and regarding the captaincy of ms dhoni i dont think he should be removed till the next t-20 wc bcoz he is still a good captain he led us to the cwc semis, india was the only subcontinent team to reach there and bangladesh series was just a one-off series which we lost. Ms dhoni has made this team i think he should be given enough time he needs to win with it. And kohli should not replace dhoni yet as he just won 1 series in sri lanka in sub continent conditions and also kohli is not at all performing well in odi's since the worldcup.

WHAT HAS AGARKAR DONE HIS CAREER.HE HIMSELF WAS ALIABILITY ON INDIAN TEAM AND IF HE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FROM THE THEN STRONG MUMBAI LOBBY HE WOULD NOT HAVE GOT A CHANCE TO PLAY FOR INDIA. HE SHOULD KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT.

jst check agarkar odi stats... after kapil n srinath he ws d best bowlwer with great wicket taking ability.... jst dnt forget hiz great bowling in aus ws the main reason of India's victory.... btw hw many times dhoni hs played great test innings in Aus...:)
I think Agarkar is bit uncharitable to Dhoni. Yes, he is not at his batting best especially in the T20 format needing a vertical take off. However in one dayers Dhoni should be able to get back his rhythm and form by batting up the order at No 4. Rahane can come after Dhoni and Raina at no.6.But as far as captaincy he cannot be thrown out suddenly w/o giving him ample opportunity. Main problem appears to be because of split captaincy the batters especially Virat Kohli is not seen to be applying himself and looks a bit casual. One thing for sure is that unless batters do well and likes of Virat,Rohit, Rahane Dhawan etc. come up with big scores there is no way India can compete. Virat as VC has to take more responsibility while batting. He casually flashes o/o stump ball and then walks off in cavalier fashion! His last run out was precisely because of such attitude. This will not do. He should learn to play like a team man. Rohit Sharma could also be an equally good captain in the shorter formats. On the bowling front the pacers have been bowling well since the WC and they are expected to do well. However India will have to go with three spinners including the new all-rounder Gurukeerat besides Ashwin and Mishra , may be in place of Axar Patel who is looking a bit low in confidence.

@ Kunal : MSD has been acclaimed by almost all cricketing pundits. What do you have against him? Even your own Dada did very well initially, but over time, started faltering.

are you suggesting dhoni's performance should never be considered how much ever he fails. And the "Cricketing" pundits how do you know on what basis they are talking? WE cannot take their opinion for sure
assess the current performance n form opinion u r right Dada is no where near dhoni in terms of "Performance" Dhoni was a captain who had potential to become the captain with most number or test losses...he quit just before that happened in middle of series...thats how great a cricketer he is

Dhoni's experiments are over, now it is not working. The time has already come to choose a better captain. Dhoni himself not playing as a batsman or W.K.
For Agarkar India has lost plenty of ODIs bowling badly in death overs & now he is pointing out. He forgot how many O he scores. He should keep his mouth shut. There r plenty of good players in Ranji trophy who r better than Agarkar lost out as they had no lobby in Team India.
