Captain Need To be like a Good Adminstrator
by Rajappa Bhaasker on Jul 06, 2017 01:26 PM

Any Captain need to have a good team to shine in any team sports. Clive Lloyd, Steve Waugh, Ganguly built their team & excelled. Certain captains like Ponting, Dravid, etc excelled because they inherited good team fro the previous captain. Always I find Batsman Captain better than Bowler Captain, Because the bowler captain always under bowl or over bowl themselves, which lead to bowler captain being in smaller numbers.

the batsman is preferred over a bowler because his job is easier and bowler cant take so much load specially a strike bowler . wasim akram and imraan khan are an exception to this thing and therefore they deserve more respect than anyone .Courtney walsh too.

Also include Kapil Dev - People started taking India seriously only after WC victory in 83. Btw, Bowlers (who can bat) can make very good captains!

spin trio VENKAT PRASANNA BEDI
ASHWIN OZA JADEJA will create history once again in cricket like kumbale raju Chauhan sir so without bowlers we can not simply go to foreign tour say after 2011 world cup zaheer sir got hamstrang injury then that tour dhoni had to bowl dozen of overs in test so bowler is must for test cricket

Indian cricketers are good speakers
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on Oct 06, 2015 07:25 PM

Indian cricketers have decent educational and family background. Their communication skill is sharpened as they travel extensively in English speaking countries. With all due respect to my favourite Kumble, I have to say that Indians are better in communication skills and not really that good in cricketing skills. They play for themselves and hardly as a team. Most of their big successes happen at home grounds only.
We are giving far too much importance on cricket and less on other sports. Cricketers are earning a lot by giving speeches, commentating cricket matches etc. Giving speeches does not help the cause of cricket.
