All credit to Ashwin, brilliant bowling indeed in the series so far. A spinning track cannot take away any credit for sure the judicious way he used his variations to trap the batsmen. He looks totally different bowler from the days of his comic pauses looking low in confidence and negative bowling to restrict runs rather than taking wicket. At last he pipped Jadeja for the MOM award because mostly it was Jadeja who would pip him in spite of good performances from Ashwin in the past. Now he has turned into a wicket taking bowler, a match winner for sure. But what has changed because just this yr in Aus Karan Sharma was picked ahead of him? One, he has cut off too much variations and experimentation. He uses his stock ball and pitches repeatedly in the right area showing lot of patience. Two, he has indeed matured and has become thinking bowler trying to anticipate batsman’s moves and is attacking all the way. To a large extent capt Kohli is also responsible for Ashwin’s success the way he sets the attacking field for him.In contrast Dhoni was not just defensive in his approach but inherently relied more in pacers using spinners to play second fiddle even in home conditions. The way Amit Mishra has made the impact as never before under Dhoni by itself points to that. But can Ashwin be effective overseas and on a flat pitches ? Absolutely yes, much more than the level of success he had in the past provided he gets the support of his captain reposing faith in him th

(contd.)..faith in him the way Kohli used him going with an attacking field.
You need to See and Hear this Guy Asswin Speak to The Press Conference - It seems like he is a Spin Wizard like Muttaiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne, Saqlain Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmed or Anil Kumble.
It seems like he has overtaken all of the Spinning records in The World and he is The Only Genius around.
The arrogance in his statements show him and Indian team in poor light.
If Indians were not cowards, they would have prepared and played on normal Indian pitches and South Africa would have shown them which is the better team in all departments.
I think it would be judicious of Ashwin to wait till end January 2016 .i.e. after the planned fixtures with Australia are over, to make further comments on his performance.
Yes he has been great this year..But one summer dosent make a.life..Also these are rank turners..So being in good gorm helps further..We l see him outsideIndia in 2017..as next year England play 5 tests again on rank under prepared dust bowl??
