Cricketing Conditions to be addressed
by M IYER on Nov 21, 2015 03:49 PM

We host foreign teams in April, May, June, etc. or play IPLs in hot conditions which has to be avoided. Cricket administration can escape by blaming the "fitness" of the victim player but ultimately, the terrific mental pressure is not helped by horrific weather conditions. TO play in Chennai in Summers or Autumn is draining like a lemon wedge squeezed. You just sap like anything there. Similarly, heat is demonic in Nagpur, Allahabad, Jaipur, Perth, etc. Let us and the players enjoy cricket and not play it like adventure sport or as a game of survival.
