Its simple and clear....Under Dhoni he performed badly...used to bowl 6 diffrant deliveries in an over plus being from CSK he enjoyed a great security to his place...Dhoni rerired and things changed for him...Kohli might have told him to be simple and stick to basics...plus might have understood the need to perform to remain in team...All in all lets give credit to MSD's retirement for Ashwin's sucess...
This 'Re - Emergence' is because he is bowling in Sub Continent for past 4-5 months against weak oppositions like Sri Lanka and South Africa , SA dont play spin well and most of these batsmen have not played much in India .Hence the 'Re - emergence' of Spin King Ashwin !!!!

Really bowlers especially Ashwin did remarkably well to restict South africa to just 214 and the openers put a solid partnership of 80 odd runs for India Well done INdia on the first day
