indian batsmen are not able to negate spin also . Gone are the days when indian players used to attack spinners . present indian team does not have calibre of Ganguly , Sehwag , Laxman , Dravid and Tendulkar
T20 and Bang bang cricket has impacted proper test batsmanship . A simple example , in the last test 240 of the 401 India scored was by Vijay and Pujara , both dont get to play lot of bang bang cricket (Vijay plays IPL though) . Rahane seemed to be good at test cricket , but of late , he seem to forget some basics , contrary to popular belief Indian batting is not in good hands .. You cant compare this team to the time of Dravid , Laxman, Sehwag , Tendulkar ,Ganguly ..
The Earlier Generation of Indian Batsmen used to Play well on Turning pitches and score heavily against Foreign spinners like Shane Warne, Muttaiah Muralitharan, Saqlain Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmed and others and Win matches for India.
The Current Indian Batsmen show respect to Part time Foreign spinners and give away their wickets and do not score heavily either against their pacemen also even inside India!!
