BCCI awards contracts to telecast rights to XYZ company, that XYZ Company appoints a BCCI Insider as a Commentator,is this not conflict of interest?

Well said. Shashank Manohar should stop taking orders from Gavaskar. Else it will be bad for BCCI.

It will be different for Shastri and Gawaskar.
These noise is only for public consumption.
It is simply a monopoly of decision making.
Do the public assume that there is no conflict of interest, for the present board members. ?

Allow other cricketers too - in administration of BCCI and Cricket in general in India
