Indians and Pakistanis are not only enemies across borders but also enemies of each other within their countries. Partition was a conspiracy by Upper Classes against rise of Lower Classes. They very wisely decided to set Lower Class people against each other, and religious hatred was correctly considered to be the most effective method of doing so.
There are three wars that must be fought in Indian subcontinent, and all three must be fought at same time by more or less same people and with full thoroughness:
war1) Civil war of Lower Indians against Upper Indians to end the oppression war2) Civil war of Lower Pakistanis against Upper Pakistanis to end the oppression war3) International war of India and Pakistan
However that is only one part of the story.
At same type there are also three kinds of friendship to be done, again in same time, people, and thoroughness:
friendship1) between all Indians friendship2) between all Pakistanis friendship3) between India and Pakistan
If these six things do not happen then the population will continue to suffer primitive and utterly uncivilized social conditions for future too, and their so called thinking will be full of prejudice, ignorance, and superstition rather than scientific and modern.
Sunil Gavaskar is advocating resumption of IND PAK series, which is laughable. He also want the talks to resume. How can India resume talks with Pak when Pak wants to talk to Kashmir terrorists? Has he forgotten the attack on Sri Lankan team in Pakistan & can he assure it will not be repeated.
