i did not say it for the benefit of bcci but for the cricket illiterate fools here who have problems in reading....bad eyes they all have got-what to do...
ashwin has played 24 tests so far and we have won 11 tests...almost 50% of the tests he has played we won....his share? 76 wickets in those 11 tests!
jadeja made his debut against aus under dhoni captaincy and he took 27 wickets in the series and whitewashed clarke's team 4-0...jadeja took clarke's wickets 5 times! in that test series....
besides these 2, amit mishra has played 11 tests under dhoni captaincy and we have won 7 tests out of those
pragyan ojha too played under dhoni, 24 tests in all out of which we have won 16 and lost 3...in these 16 tests ojha took 87 wickets!
as i have shown apart from bhajji dhoni has given chances to many world class spinners and helped india win many matches- tests as well as odis...
the players dhoni selects in his team, whether they are his friends or not he takes them because they are good, talented having potential, not because they are his friends...
Tell us the name of a single world class Spinner or Fast bowler who came up under Dhoni's captaincy and who can win India matches like Bhajji/Zaheer who blossomed under Dad used to do?? Answer is no. Because Dhoni never thought of team India. His intention has always been to earn money under the guidance of our beloved Fxer Srini

pragyan ozha and mishra also have a very good test record under dhoni captaincy...check how many matches they played under dhoni and how many tests we won and how many we lost...

ashwin was ranked no 1 in icc list of all rounders...without showing performance this is not possible...
jadeja was ranked no 1 odi bowler...without performance this is not possible...

this clearly shows you cant argue...please make up your mind dhoni plays ashwin repeatedly inspite of failures ....or dhoni drops him for failures?

bhajji has played in 101 matches ...we have won 42 of those with bhajji taking 221 wickets...
as you can see both percentage as well as wickets per test won ashwin is doing better than bhajji...

harbhajan has played 229 odis india has won in 126 out of them...55% wins in these 126 matches we won bhajji took 165 wickets that means 1.30 wickets per match...
ashwin has played 96 odis india has won in 58 out of those...60% wins...
in these 58 odis ashwin took 97 wickets...that means 1.67 wickets per match....
as you can see in odis too ashwin has better winning percentage as well as wicket taking in those wins...

Ganguly had great cricketing vision to recognize talents. Shewag,Yuvi,zaheer.Harbhajan,Even Dhoni came up and blossomed under his captaincy.Much of Dhoni's earlier success were due to the team built by Ganguly. E.g. 20007 WC 2011 etc. Tell me how many top quality cricketers have come up under Dhoni's captaincy who can perform at foreign pitches. Dhoni as a captain is reluctant to give chances to young talented players and keep playing his favourites like jadeja,Raina,Aswin instead of their repeated failure..Dhoni has the second worst away test record as a captain..Still some people like Sunil Vaidya,, favors him. BTW Dhoni has never scored a single century outside subcontinent. It shows his capability as a player too...

we know who ganguly gave chances to during his time parthiv patel, ashish nehra, the list is long....he was trying to get laxman to open the innings for india...laxman flatly refused. he told ganguly i will not open the indian innings...take me in another batting position or forget it...
because of dhoni's fantastic team which he built from scratch kohli's captaincy record so far is good...in tests 1 win and 1 draw in aus...thankfully he not saddled with ganguly' team or 2 losses for him and that too very badly...kohli has 14 wins and 3 losses in 17 odis as a captain again thanks the fantastic team built by dhoni from scratch...

century is not everything...anyway the batting position that he comes centuries will not come often anyway...dhoni has quite a few 70s, 80s and 90s...for that matter even misbah ul haq has 0 centuries in odis...that does not stop him from being a very good odi player...compare yesteryear's famous player vengsarkar....he has 3 centuries in lords but that does not stop him from having as good or as bad a test record as dhoni...dhoni averages around 33 runs in away tests(not really all that bad at all considering his batting position)...same as vengsarkar's away test average(though he came 1 down and has hit a few centuries)...dhoni's is not a specialist batsmen still his record is better than many specialist batsmen of many countries...hansie cronje was considered a good captain of sa...he played as a specialist batsman...his record in tests is as good or as bad as dhoni's test record...arjun ranatunga is considered as a legend of sl cricket....he too has not scored a single away test century and averages 30 runs in away tests....

Sunil do you remember that time Zimbabwe was a stong opponent with the likes of Andy flower, Grant flower,Heath Streak,Olonga, Neil Johnson,Alistar Capmbel,Paul Strang in their team !! That zimbabwe would have beaten this Indian team under Dhoni 9 out of ten times under any given condition..
