Well said...... I was surprised to see Mohit Sharma as test match bowler list in rediff team list..
If Umesh Yadav is to be rested, why pick Ishant Sharma? Batsmen all over the world like to play him because of his wonderful ability of giving away easy runs. He is one bowler who seldom learns. It's time to pick and nurture a new seamer.
Mumbai's Shardul Thakur has been a leading wicket taker in the last 3 years in Ranji Trophy. He has a number of 4 and 5 wicket hauls to his credit. Though he was selected by Kings XI Punjab in the IPL, he got to play in only one game. If talent is not encouraged at the right time, it will easily be wiped out. I think Shardul Thakue deserves a chance in the national team.
Can't see the point of playing 3 seamers on Bangladeshi wickets. India should pick 2 seamers (Sami and Umesh), one off-spinner (Bhajji/Ashwin), one left arm spinner (Axar/Pragyan Ojha) and one leg spinner (Amit Mishra/Karn Sharma/Piyush Chawla)
Why Ishant Sharma ? Give chance to the Juniors. Shikhar Dhawan is always dangerous in Asian Continent. So he should replace Rohit Sharma. Come out of two spinner format India has now lot of Fast bowlers and pleeeeease find out some real spinners who can turn the ball.
