I find it quite strange the way rediff calculates PVI.
If Andre Russel was bought for $100,000/-, he is paid that much. As per me, PVI should be calculated as amt paid to him divided by MVPI points (to account for overall contribution of batting, bowling , fielding etc). Even if you consider only number of score for calculating PVI, it should be amt paid to player divided by number of runs scored. The lowest PVI score means paisa vasool in such a case.
