mostly okay except guptill, corey anderson and morne morkel - occasionally flashy but not consistent enough.. shikar dhawan, faulkner & wahab riaz have a better claim..

none of the Indian players deserve to be in the XI. Also McCullum as captain doesn\'t seem to be right. He goes with one approach - if it works they win,or else, they lose.Just because of this approach,he narrowly escaped against Australia and South Africa. He can\'t be a strategist. Sangakkara or Smith will be a better captain than McCullum.

Why shocked
by vijay viswanath on Mar 30, 2015 11:25 AM

None of the Indian players deserve to be in that line up. This is based on WC performance. Virat needed to compete with Smith or AB in the middle order and don't deserve the place.

I would prefer Mitchell Johnson or James Faulkner instead of Corey Anderson . Rest all listed deserve their places.

shocking to see Virat not there in ICC world cup team. He is better than Tendulkar,Gavaskar,Border & Richards. He would have hammered Jeff Thomson, Lillie, Marshal , Holding ,Roberts , Imran etc out of stadium if born between 1950-60.

None of the players mentioned played in the sixties. Improve your knowledge about cricket. Fortunately for Virat Kohli he was not born in the sixties. He would not have played a single test those days. Look at his performance in the English series. One has to be good in all conditions.

Wrong. He only wanted to take birth in this era because of Anushka

What has Kohli really done in this world cup other than that single hundred. He definetly did not deserve to be in this final XI. Let us go by form n not by name. Im only suprised that Ashwin does not make the cut in this team, though he would have been facing tough opposition from Vettori and Tahir. Good, strong XI

First ask him to improve his Overseas ODI record , then compare him with the greats.
