Respect cannot be commanded or ordered
by himamshu on Apr 01, 2015 02:59 AM

Respect should come from within people's hearts out of honour and trust and not due to money, power or stardom.

Respect should be earned and not given away on a platter.

Respect comes out of admiration and 10ve and not out of fear or intimidation or by sledging others.

1 wc win is more than 100 ordinary ODI and test centuries and win.
kohli lost all with that shot.
fans are right in criticising him.

poor performance

Kohli has just an overrated person without any solid performance in mega events like world cup. Barring the Ind-Pak match, he has not delivered anything great in this world cup. We would have lost the matches against west indies and Ireland had dhoni-raina combination did not stay.
He might have scored centuries in normal matches but those cannot be counted for an Ind-Aus knock out clash in a tournament like World Cup and that too in Australian ground! A good player has to deliver under pressure and that too with a opposition like Australia. Kohli cannot handle pressure. Even in 2011 world cup final, he was a failure.

It's better he takes inputs from people like steeve and pointing rather than becoming aggressive without delivering.

Virat ....

While we do respect Virat-Anushka's privacy, this affair is distracting Virat's concentration. Great players like Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly, VVS, Sehwag remained away from distractions. (personal story of Tendulkar, Ganguly had every scope of distraction). while careers of Kambli's, Sandip Patil's failed only due to distraction. Let almighty give the necessary wisdom to them to get married soon!!

V Kohli should be expelled from the team. He is only bothered about his love life and money. Australians have shown the way to the rest of the world how cricket battles are won. I do not think any other country will be to achieve what Aussies have achieved. They are super human beings.

Even all the players of Australia have also girlfriends but they do not indulge in cheap acts and the interest of their country and winning of the match for their country is of paramount interest for them.

We are not concerned about who your girl-friend is or whether she is at the ground. But what is the kind of shot Virat played? Hooking a fast, rising ball, over shoulder height from outside the off stump and losing your wicket after the openers had given us a rousing start. There was no intelligence, pride or responsibility in the short in the most important match he has played. We are concerned about that!
