in 2003 wc too.. bowlers reserved their worst for finals, same happened yesterday. having sad that, we lost because of 2 players 1.kohli 0/10 2.rahane 0/10 they were wekest link in our batting. kohli totally out of form and still playing arrogant shots. rahane playing as if seen some ghost. we would have been kncoked in QF against bangladesh, had it not been for rohit. we were saved humiliation.

Sir, We should play more county cricket in england to get used to pitches and sense of oneness and unity coupled with responsibility to charge against strong opponents
It was a meek surrender , we played same cricket which we had been against Australia in Triseries ,were loosing convincingly with big margin than and lost now exactly the same way , The major reason is we were not anywhere near to them , we won 07 straight games but did we got good opponents ,Answer is NO except SA all were very weak teams , it was clearly visible that the moment we will get any strong team we will be exposed again ! Stll no complaints becaz team played to its calliber and as a cricket loving nation we were expecting too much from them ,they reached to semis is ok! its game one wins one looses ,better team wins ,weak team losses ,this happens in all games !

With total ignorance of other endurance games like Football, Hockey, Running etc., CRICKET CRAZY National would be a better tag for our obsession with this legacy of British Rule
If u r going keep a match wining batman like yuvraj singh out of such a big tournament the result was predicted after all you require experience & calm head while chase 329 runs which only yuvi would have done as shown 2002 natwest final against england when he & khaif chased 326 so selectors open ur eyes & brush up ur minds & bring him up for positive results
starting was so good, but two person virat kohli and suresh raina have no interest to play on this day. they hurt all india, shikhar and rohit effort but azinkya rehane and jadeja did not effort, only dhony try but could not effort more time alone.
virat and raina ke liye juto ki mala meri taraf se.. in kameeno ne desh ko haar dilwayi
You have done your best to entertain the indian public. Its their ( AUS) day. Winning the toss is the luck. But you kept winning all the games upto quarter final, No regrets. After all it may not be possible to defend the title in Australia and Neezealand. No probs. Be optimistic and see the brighter side of the coin.

That is true in one sense.. Once you are professionals, representing your country, no one bothers how much effort you have put it, people want results. Apart from dhoni and rahane, no one showed hunger to bat through the innings, similar to what Smith did for Australia. Team looked like in a hurry to catch evening flight to come to india and prepare themselves to grandeur "IPL", because, they have less than a week to prepare. Neither Team management nor the players to be blamed..If at all, we have to blame, need to blame BCCI for this. How can you schedule IPL giving hardly 2-3 days of rest for the players, when they are away from the motherland for the past 3 months ? Do we have same sort of schedule for Big bash in australia ? why dont these BCCI duffers think ? why are you letting the players suffer from mental and physical fatigue ? Every one wants money, no one bothers about players ..
i really dont understand the rating logic .. All the bowlers did go for runs in the semifinal .. While you give them 8 and 9 , what is the logic in giving the batsmen 6
Does the Writer know anything on cricket- MSD did exceptional captaincy throughout the WC and took charge of the situation during crucial situation. He was the lone warrior in the semi final and what does he get from the author? Take a walk writer!!!

With not even 140 runs on board and the bowlers behind him, you expected him to go hammer and tongs? His game plan was very sensible, to maintain the wickets like 44-45 overs and then go full blast in the last 5-6 overs.Didn't you see his assault , two straight sixes and the Australians had deep furrows on their forehead? Dude you don't see the situation and just speak for the heck of it!

His game plan was to bat out the 50 overs. After hitting two sixes he again went slow. Plan?

Mak, RRR was 8 when Dhoni came. Any idea how much it was when he departed? And making run-a-ball 59 is outrightly "selfish" by any standards. And Rahane for once, was equally bad.
