Team India played delibrately poorly
by sumeshpillai on Mar 27, 2015 02:24 PM

India lost the match after losing the toss. The body language of Indian team exposed the team preparation for clash with mighty Aussies. The defeat shown the poor strategy adopted for the big game. The team defensive tactics proved them costly & it was suicidal. The match actually shown where India stands in ODI. Australia played as World Class & India as Cattle Class. Top order insensitive batting & Dhoni’s mysterious run out seems something was abnormal. Dhoni’s team laidback attitude in batting, fielding & bowling shown their amateurish preparation for a big World Cup game. The post match media briefing showed Dhoni as Arrogant and insensitive.

Winning and losing is part of the game .Why so much of hue and cry about a game. No one thought about India coming up to semifinal. My only regret is that Team India didnot gave a fight

Disappointment
by Viswanathan on Mar 27, 2015 12:47 PM

It was a big disappointment seeing Team India lose to Australia. Shami's inabilty to produce wickets upfront and deplorable batting from Kohli and Raina were responsible for India's loss. It is a pity Jadeja played all games inspite of poor performance, except his good fielding.

Middle order is the key for any match
by THOTA VEERENDAR on Mar 27, 2015 12:08 PM

Indian team players should learn what kind of attention to be paid for the match in which they are playing. In semi final against professionals like Aussies, you need to have more focus with inbuilt urge to do or die. The Indian fans did'nt see any such passion from the main key batsmen towards chasing the mammoth total.

MATCH FIXING
by Neeraj Singhal on Mar 27, 2015 12:04 PM

VIRAT AND RAINA FIXED MATCH NOT TO PLAY. IT WAS ONLY 95 RUNS WHICH BOTH OF THEM COULD HAVE DONE. BUT MONEY IS MONEY. HOW CAN YOU STOP? BCCI SHOULD CONDUCT CBI ENQUERY. EVERY THING WILL BE CLEAR.

our players can only make runs against Bangaladesh, Afganistan and Ireland. they are all Mitti Ke Madhav. Austrian showed their standard. they are all actors rather players.

Team India in WC
by Saptashwa on Mar 27, 2015 11:20 AM

Team India has played far better than what they was expected before starting WC, especially Bowlers.
With the kind of performance they demonstrated prior to WC, even reaching Semi was a Big Deal and they deserved Congratulations for rising to Occasion and demonstrating some decent Show.
Congrats Team India.

Murlai Vijay

Murali Vijay instead of Rohit Sharma would have made the difference. Especially against Australians.Rohit Sharma can score only against the likes of Bangladesh, Afganistan etc...

No doubt Rohit Sharma is getting more than what he deserves and need replacement.
But, what make ppl. to recommend Murali Vijay? Plz look in to his ODI records.
There are good no. of Young Turks have emerged during last Ranaji & Irani Trophy and Team India should try them instead of ppl. who hv been tried and failed.

Dear Sirs, I am just wondering.... When the season started Ashwin was supposed to make a difference. Sorry, though not much runs scored in his bowling, wickets are not seen. He was never & will never be a match winning bowler!
Similarly, Why so many chances to Jadeja? Why were Patel & Binny were not played even after we qualified for quarter? When the 2 were included in playing eleven during non-WC fixtures, they wwre totally underutilized!
I Think, MSD has become totally biased! Though a wonderful Bat, he is not the same captain he used to be...

Our paper tigers roared against bunnies like Bangladesh, Ireland, South Africa with injured bowlers and UAE etc. Their roars evaporated in thin air when they came up against a professional outfit like Awesome Aussies

To be a part of Indian squad, you just need one very big innings (eg, Rohit Sharma and Shikar Dhawan) and you can rest on your laurels for atleast 50 matches by just scoring one odd 50-60 against weak teams. The reason for suggesting Murali Vijay is that he had scored well against Aussies and was well set.

I agree win & loss is part of all game but did the Indian team played like semifinalist? Just compare the game between NZ & SA, where SA gave tough fight till last over of the game.
