Right said Rohit, unless it is Bangladesh or Zimbabwe

Or flat sub continent pitches you cannot score.

You have started the excuses because you know your worth and are sure you will fail.

Against quality International sides only players like Kohli score.

Obviously Rajeev Shukla uncle can get you into team instead of deserving murali vijay but cannot come and bat for you.

It'll be Australia vs NZ final
by Parika Gupta on Mar 26, 2015 12:28 AM

With Aussies winning.

Want to prepare my country mates, though prepared to be proved wrong and eat humble pie.

Problem is Aussies don't fix unlike Lanka & Pakistan.

The Dhonis & Rainas are IPL champs and will fail miserably against quality teams on international teams.

Murali vijay desrved to be here instead of this Rohit.

very well said, rohit!

fantastic move from dhoni! just like ganguly made sehwag an opener....dhoni opened with rohit in odis...as his talent was wasted at no. 6!

as a opener rohit has made around 2200 runs in 49 innings with average of 50 runs and 18 50 plus scores fully justifying dhoni's faith in him!

double century
by Manohar Rao on Mar 25, 2015 02:20 PM

A 200 on any pitch against any opposition is great feat and the batsman has to be appreciated for it.There are some guys over here who are debating that it is easy to make big scores on Indian pitches.I challenge those to spend only 30 minutes in the field in that hot and humid conditions.
Yes, I agree with Rohit that it is not possible to score a 200 everytime you go to bat but I think it is possible be consistent most of the time.People expect Rohit to be more consistent and a wasted talent who fires once in a while.

Nice work the other day Rohit but you have to be consistant too. before the innings against Bangladesh you was woefully out of form and could have even been dropped , so pl be consistant first and dont bother about the double, thats a tall order we all acknowledge

Rohit's comments

It makes sense. Let us not wish that every body scores 200 every time that means bowling is very weak and the batsman is full dominance. Like Guptil, he was hitting every ball for four or six.Rohit and Shikar should see the initial overs with some care so that they can hit after wards as scoring will not be difficult for these batsmen followed by kohli, Rahane, Raina and Dhoni who can play their shots if wickets are in tact
