Based on the overall statistics,India won 40 and lost 67.Most of the earlier losses came when India did not have a good team or did not gain experience in ODIs. If you see from 2008 to 2015,India won 11 and lost 12 against Australia,both home and away. India won 4 and lost 6 in Australia,India won 7 and lost 6 at home. So,there's no big difference between the quality of these two teams and no justification for the arrogance of the Australians.

exactly,past records and numbers have no relevance here. This Indian team is a bunch of young energetic boys. Even a poor fielder like Ashwin has improved.
