India vs Australia, SF 2: How the teams measure up

Based on the overall statistics,India won 40 and lost 67.Most of the earlier losses came when India did not have a good team or did not gain experience in ODIs.
If you see from 2008 to 2015,India won 11 and lost 12 against Australia,both home and away. India won 4 and lost 6 in Australia,India won 7 and lost 6 at home. So,there's no big difference between the quality of these two teams and no justification for the arrogance of the Australians.

wcpak is very correct in his assessment. It is on the day which teams bat and bowl better will win.

exactly,past records and numbers have no relevance here. This Indian team is a bunch of young energetic boys. Even a poor fielder like Ashwin has improved.
